Exchanging typical promotional bluster for refreshing realism, K-1 producer Sadaharu Tanigawa weighed in on Brock Lesnar’s future within the HERO’S programme.
The 29 year old Lesnar, decorated as both an amateur and professional wrestler, announced officially yesterday at K-1’s Las Vegas event that his deal with K-1 was official, and that he would be furthering his mixed martial arts training with MMA pioneer Royce Gracie. The former collegiate heavyweight wrestling champion previously was training with Pat Miletich and the Miletich Fighting Systems team in Iowa.
Tanigawa commented, “I’m not going to be impatient; he wants to train at minimum for half a year.” K-1’s producer continued, perhaps with some typical ambition, saying that he thought Lesnar could make a debut early next year, and that he was looking to promote a HERO’S card in United States in February of 2007.
When asked who Lesnar would face in his debut, Tanigawa laughed, “I haven’t decided yet, but it isn’t Bob Sapp. That’s all I know for sure.”

Nintendo gaming site Nwizard has put together a handy list of titles for Nintendo’s Wii that are confirmed to be there at launch (whenever that is). So far, the total is set at 27, but of course that number can grow as time gets closer to the inevitable day the Wii comes to stores.
While there certainly looks to be a nice, varied list of games there at launch, there are also a few titles on the way that are worth waiting for — Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are just a couple.

Dream Stage Entertainment has announced the first ten official fighters to take compete at their North American debut.
PRIDE’s parent company have announced that their October 21st The Real Deal card from Las Vegas, Nevada will feature a wide array of the company’s top talent, including many of their prominent American fighters. International fighters scheduled for competition are PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Mirko “CroCop” Filipovic, Kazuyuki Fujita, Kazuhiro Nakamura, and Pawel Nastula.
The American fighters now scheduled to compete at PRIDE’s North American debut are Josh Barnett, and the Hammer House trio of Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman, and Phil Baroni.
