A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be in South Beach for Memorial Day Weekend a.k.a. Urban Beach Week. A half dozen friends and I spent an entire Saturday sitting on Ocean Drive soaking up the sun, sights and sounds and earning ourselves the moniker of ”Beastie Boys” with the table next to us coming to be known as ”The Roots.” The cars, the clothes and certainly the women on display all came straight out of a rap video and it was hands down the best people-watching experience of my young lifetime.
Unfortunately, I, unlike Agent Zero, did not get down to Miami this year but a couple of my favorite NBA players did and the good folks at Young, Black and Fabulous are posting party pics. First up, it’s Agent Zero’s main man Larry Hughes with a stated affinity for certain types of women…
Second up and equally as hilarious, it’s Ron Artest shot callin’ in a pool bar…
Who knows what Artest is saying, but I imagine it sounds a lot like this.
