Yep, Andre Iguodala and the rest of the Sixers visit the Palace of Auburn Hills to face a team who had it’s fire rekindled by Chauncey B-B-B-Billups.
25 points and 15 assists, that’s the kind of game Chauncey Billups had the last time the Pistons were on the court, beating the New York Knicks 98-86 to improve their record to 7-4 this 2007-08 NBA basketball season.
25 points is a season-high for Chauncey Billups who just recently, came back from an injury. Talk about coming back with a bang huh? The Pistons bitch-slapped a New York Knicks team that seemed more determined to see their head coach, Isiah Thomas, lose his job than simply winning a basketball game.
‘’They looked like they didn’t want to compete,'’ Detroit Pistons guard Flip Murray said. ‘’They were just out there. All you had to do was look at their body language. I don’t know what’s going on over there, but they’ve got a lot of issues.'’
Of course, all those issues surround New York Knicks head coach Isiah Thomas. Apparently, Thomas is no longer liked by the rest of the New York Knicks and when a coach is no longer liked by his players, that coach is pretty much…

And this crazy season continues in college football with Week 13 of our second favorite (and only) football league.
And as ya’ll know by now, the top teams this 2007 NCAA college football season continues to shuffle faster than your local poker card room dealer. The Kansas Jayhawks are finally in the BCS national championship picture while the LSU Tigers are still on top of everyone else.
Speaking of them LSU Tigers, they enter this week’s game with the Arkansas Razorbacks in the middle of controversies surrounding their head coach Les Miles and the open head coaching job in Michigan.
Les Miles is one of the top candidates to replace Lloyd Carr as head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. Of course, that has something to do with the fact that Miles once played for Bo Schembechler at Michigan.
‘’Michigan has not called. It’s unfair to Michigan to say that they should, and it is unfair to me and my time,'’ Les Miles said. ‘’What I am doing is what you should be doing, let it rest.'’
And let it rest is what they should do, considering that they have a very tough Arkansas Razorbacks team, with…

10-1, boy, these guys are really on it now.
Week 12 of the 2007-08 NFL football season began Thursday, on Thanksgiving, to kick off a series of Thursday Night Football games that would only mean one thing and one thing only, we can watch more football from here on out.
And this Thanksgiving, we had three Thanksgiving games that sure were a beauty to watch. (Of course, we didn’t have much of a choice anyway with the NBA taking the day off but still…)
One of those games was the contest between two NFC giants, the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions. At the end of the day, one team made sure everybody realized that they are REALLY going for the Super Bowl now, no matter what the rest of us say.
That team is the Green Bay Packers. After winning their 10th win of the season, the Packers are now solid title contenders in the NFC. Hell, not even a fumbling Favre in the first quarter, on their very first play, could throw them off their game. Oh yeah, that was the time Favre teased the Detroit Lions, giving them false hope of an upset win over his Packers. Now why would…

The two best point guards in the 2005 draft class go head to head Friday night after a day without the NBA to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Yep, it’s Chris Paul going up against Deron Williams, two young guns who have probably become the two best prototypical point guards in the game this 2007-08 NBA basketball season.
Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets will try to snap a two-game skid after playing their infamous ‘’13th game'’ with a rather bittersweet ending to it. You see, last season, the Hornets watched star forward Peja Stojakovic go down and out with an injury on their 13th game.
Last Wednesday, Stojakovic CAME BACK from an injury for the Hornets’ 13th, but they ended up losing to the Indiana Pacers, 105-93.
The New Orleans Hornets also had point guard Chris Paul back in the starting lineup Wednesday night, but center Tyson Chandler remained on the bench nursing a knee.
The Indiana Pacers took advantage of New Orleans’ injury problems as they pulled away at the beginning of the second half, opening the third quarter on a 13-2 run. They beat the Hornets 105-93 before 11,609 at the New Orleans Arena, handing the Hornets their…

Happy Thanksgiving people! Yep, it’s Thanksgiving and there are some NFL teams out there who have more than enough to be thankful about.
One of such teams is of course, the STILL perfect New England Patriots. They have an undefeated 10-0 mark this 2007-08 NFL football season and with the level of play they’re still in at this point, I reckon nobody would be able to beat these guys this year.
But enough about the New England Patriots. We all know that these guys will be this good even before the season began right? Heck, the Pats were just THAT busy in the offseason trying to come up with the team they have now. Signing Randy Moss and Wes Welker (to name a few…) sure were just PERFECT indeed.
Heading for Week 12, Thursday Night Football returns as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Atlanta Falcons in what should be a lopsided game. Yeah, Peyton Manning hasn’t been the same since losing to Tom Brady for their first loss of the season but against the Falcons, Peyton should have no problem whatsoever getting back on track.
Hell, the Atlanta Falcons can’t do anything right defensively anyway. Colts will beat the Atlanta birds by two touchdowns. Yep, bet on the Colts with the -13.5 spread nice and easy.
But before the Colts fuck the Falcons up…

Well, a rivalry of some sort anyway.
The USC Trojans, shockingly ranked No.11 this 2007 NCAA college football season, face No.6 Arizona State Sun Devils to resume what has been a rather weird rivalry, and the most confusing one too in college football.
Let me explain, you see, every single time the USC Trojans and the Arizona State Sun Devils meet, the Devils always win and get that close to the Pac-10 title, only to lose their next game to some other team and give up the title to, yes, USC.
It all started in 1978, when the Arizona State Sun Devils faced the Trojans at Sun Devil Stadium for the first time. USC, ranked then as the No.2 team of the nation, got virtually blitzed by Arizona State, 20-7.
THEN, the Sun Devils lost their next game by 34 points to Washington, finishing fourth in the Pac-10. USC on the other hand, bounced back from their loss to the Sun Devils to claim a share of the national title.
This pattern went on for nearly three decades…

The Atlanta Falcons are struggling and the Indianapolis Colts will let the Birds see why they have no business being on the same field with them.
In what would be the first Thursday Night Football game of the 2007-08 NFL football season, (because they normally kick these off on Thanksgiving…) the Indianapolis Colts take on the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome.
And while the rest of the nation go ga-ga over the ridiculously powerful Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts will pound the birds in Atlanta in preparation for their possible second meeting with the Pats this time in the playoffs.
The Indianapolis Colts continue to hover under the radar, and after they suffered their first loss of the season to the New England Patriots, they continue to, especially after they had their second straight loss, this time to the San Diego Chargers, before finally getting back to the win column after beating the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday.
However, despite the win over Kansas City, it seems Indianapolis Colts superstar Peyton Manning lost that fire after losing to Patriots QB Tom Brady three weeks ago.
After losing to Pats 24-20, Peyton Manning lost to San Diego 23-21 in a game where he recorded a rather miserable 49.4 QB rating. Of course, what was even more shocking during that game against…

My my, how the mighty has fallen.
Well, if it’s any consolation for England, U.S.A. is no longer the king of the sport they invented so I guess it’s OK for England to suck in soccer now. He he… Yep, you read it, England is no longer the king of soccer after losing to Croatia 3-2.
The loss forced England to miss the Euro 2008 Championships, letting the unthinkable to happen right there at Wembley Stadium. They originally needed a tie in their final Euro qualifier at home, lo and behold, these sick fucks let two quick goals to go through their net.
England rallied in the second half, thanks to a Peter Crouch goal from a David Beckham cross, (yes, he’s playing again…) England was able to tie the game 2-2. But with Croatia coming up with another goal in the 77th minute from Mladen Petric, soccer’s mother country was beaten.
‘’It will be a summer without seeing the flags out in the streets and seeing the atmosphere around England, and that’s going to be devastating for the country,'’ David Beckham said. ‘’We all know there are more important things than football in the world, but for us not to qualify for a competition it’s a huge, huge thing.'’
Hey Becks, what do you care? You live in…
